Happy New Year, sir. I hope that you are happy, healthy and more awesome than ever.
Awesome, my dear? Well, one doesn't like to boast but I am feeling a swelled a little with New Year cheer. I have begun to read the Camus and I'm quite enjoying it given that I'm sober. I'll finish it tomorrow and hope to resume blogging towards the end of the week. I confess to finding it hard to find that spark to get me back into the mood for work.
I trust that your American New Year went well and you're suitably energised for the new academic semester? Have you made any suitably academic resolutions we might adopt on this side of the Atlantic? I'll try anything so long as it doesn't involve the new novel by Mr. Pynchon.
I resolved to write a sonnet and I put it on my blog for all to see! I challenged others to write one, but no one would try. Surely, Honorable, you could write one.
I will set myself to the task immediately. I've written many a sonnet in my day. I'll write it about the subject of my latest post and I'll post it tomorrow.
